Alumni Finalists for Excellence in Education Award

We are proud to announce two of our alumnae, BCHS Director of Academic Support, Beth Brogan, BCHS Class of 1986 and Alice Mattingly, St. Pius X Teacher, BCHS Class of 1975 have been named 2 of the 8 finalists for the Saint Theodora Excellence in Education Award. This is the highest honor for a Catholic educator in the Archdiocese.

Emmy Award Winner!

Barney Wood, Class of 1982, is proud to announce an Emmy WIN at the 2013 Emmy Celebration in Cleveland, OH! As the Founder and President of Wood Innovative Group, Barney took the stage to accept the award in the category of “Technical Director for a ‘Live’ production other than Sports.” He received the Emmy for his work as the Technical Director of The 2012 Hospice Concert featuring 3 Dog Night. Wood’s company has offices in Indianapolis and Southern Indiana. Kris Roney, ’88, is Track & Cross Country Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary member

At the 2013 IHSAA Track and Field Championship on May 31st, Kris Roney (1988), was recognized by the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Hall of Fame as one of the 1st Silver Anniversary members. In reaction to the recognition Kris said, “I was honored to be a part of this special day as track will forever be a huge part of my life. My fellow recipients and I are hopeful that athletes of today ad all future athletes will continue to recognize the importance of this great sport.”

Dan Traub ’89

Dan Traub and his wife Tracey welcomed their son Andrew Joseph in December 2012. They are currently living in the Carmel area and are enjoying their time as new parents.
