Doug Jones, ’78, to be honored at Indy 500 Parade

Join us as we cheer on Bishop Chatard’s own Doug Jones in the IPL 500 Festival Parade this Saturday! From the class of ’78, Doug is being recognized for his achievements in film, notably his recent portrayal in the Oscar-winning Best Picture “The Shape of Water.” Bring the family downtown and experience race weekend as Doug will be joined by larger than life balloons, bands, floats and more! Do you recognize someone swimming with the dolphins at the Indianapolis Zoo? That could be BCHS alumnus Jayson Rabideau, Class of 2011, who is one of the trainers at the Dolphin Pavilion at the Zoo. Stop by and say hello!

Monica (Ruberg) Helfrich, ’04, welcomes baby girl

Monica (Ruberg) Helfrich, BCHS Class of 2004, and husband Barry welcomed a baby girl to the family on September 2. Her name is Ruby Lucille. Ruby is adored by her big brothers Evan (7), Carter (5) and Gordon (2).

Sara Perry, ’05, welcomes baby boy

Congratulations to Sara Perry, BCHS Class of 2005, the new mother of Mason Bye, born on February 17, 2018, weighing 6.1 oz and 19 inches long.

Zach Hartley, ’09, Paradigm talent agent

Congratulations to Zach Hartley, BCHS Class of 2009, and Ball State graduate, on his recent promotion to Agent at Paradigm Talent Agency. Zach was one of three individuals in the US and London who received this promotion for the music division of the company. Paradigm is a full-service entertainment agency based in Beverly Hills and is considered to be one of the “Big Five” major worldwide talent agencies. Beginning with the agency in the summer of 2014, Zach works with some of the biggest names in the entertainment space, including Alessia Cara, JOHNNYSWIM, Steve Miller Band, and Walk the Moon; as well as AMC, HGTV, the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Macy’s. Zach has been in Nashville for 5 years with the company and will continue working out of that office.

Whitney (Popp) Reh, ’05, welcomes baby boy

Congratulations to Whitney (Popp) Reh, BCHS Class of 2005, and her husband, Kyle Reh, as they welcome their first child, Brooks Edward Reh, on February 12, 2018!

Shelley (Jenkins) Shinabarger, ’94, returns to Indy

Shelley (Jenkins) Shinabarger writes that she was married on November 4, 2017 to Kipp Shinabarger at Christ the King Church. Shelley returned to Indianapolis, teaching K-8 technology at Immaculate Heart of Mary School, after teaching for 10 years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Welcome home Shelley!
