Alison Graham, ’13, is named Secular Society Investigative Fellow at Roanoke Times
Congratulations to Alison Graham, BCHS Class of 2013, who was recently named the inaugural Secular Society Investigative Fellow at Roanoke Times. With this fellowship, Alison will be able to continue her investigative reporting on topics concerning social services issues in the state of Virginia.
Jackie Carnaghi, ’15, is 500 Festival Princess
Jackie Carnaghi, BCHS Class of 2015, was recently named a 2020 500 Festival Princess.
“I felt this was a great opportunity to get involved and give back to the city I love so much on a higher profile stage,” she said.
The 2015 Bishop Chatard High School graduate, who played basketball, volleyball and tennis at Bishop Chatard, graduated from Butler with a degree in anthropology and a minor in creative writing. Jackie is scheduled to graduate from IUPUI in May 2021 with a master’s degree in applied medical anthropology.

Nick Casey and Lewis Dilts meet in college baseball game
Two BCHS alumni will be back on the BCHS campus, playing for their respective college baseball teams as DePauw University takes on Manchester University on the BCHS baseball field. Nick Casey (DePauw) and Lewis Dilts (Manchester), both members of the BCHS Class of 2016, will be playing a doubleheader both Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, 2020. Games both days start at 12:00 noon.
Matt McCann, ’15, on his Purdue football career
Matt McCann, BCHS Class of 2015, reflects on his career as a Purdue Boilermaker, the highlight being the Boilermaker’s 2018 win over Ohio State, as well as winning the Foster Farms Bowl. Matt’s future plans include training for pro days and the NFL draft — and a 2021 wedding! Congratulations, Matt, on your Boilermaker accomplishments.
