Rob Horan, ’03

Rob Horan (2003) is working as the Combine Director for the NFL. He and is wife live in Fishers, IN where they welcome Robert Horan, III to their family on May 28th. Congratulations to the Horan family!

Lily and Madeleine, ’13, on Tour!

Shooting music videos, a duet with a music icon, a concert tour and press are quite a way to kick off summer vacation! Bishop Chatard Alum, Madeleine Jurkiewicz ’13 and her sister Lily will be singing June 8 at the Deluxe in Old National Center in Indianapolis, before leaving for a summer concert tour! Known as “Lily & Madeline” the singing duo has also had the honor of performing a duet with John Mellancamp on the soundtrack for his musical, “Ghost Brothers of Darkland County”. Lily & Madeline have signed with Asthmatic Kitty, an independent record label, with their CD release of “The Weight of the Globe” June 11th. The Ryan Baker Foundation

In spring of 2010, Ryan and Susanah (Acheson) Baker ’04, started the Ryan Baker Foundation for kids and young adults. They most recently hosted an event for young men who have aged out of the foster care system and are no longer eligible for adoption. Twenty young men were taken shopping for suits at Men’s Wearhouse to dress them for interviews and prepare them for their future. Austin Collie and Martin Plowman were there along with several Bishop Chatard alumni and friends. Susanah said “They were the most polite group of young men I have been around, and despite their circumstances they had the most positive attitude on life.” On Friday, June 28, the Ryan Baker Foundation will also be hosting a free football camp at BCHS. Dan Traub ’89

Dan Traub and his wife Tracey welcomed their son Andrew Joseph in December 2012. They are currently living in the Carmel area and are enjoying their time as new parents.

Katie McCalley ’09, receives Purdue award

Katie McCalley, class of 2009, was recognized with the Charles O. McGaughey Award at the Purdue University Commencement Exercises this May. This Purdue Scholarship award is given to the student who exemplifies qualities of leadership and outstanding scholastic achievement.

Tracy (Silvey) Daeger, ’98, Teacher of the Year

Tracy (Silvey) Daeger, class of 1998, was recognized as Teacher of the at Year at Rosa Parks-Edison Elementary School (Perry Township). Tracy teaches the 3rd Grade there. She, her husband, Tom, and their 2 children live on the south side of Indianapolis.

Casey Williamson, ’11, Player of the Year

Casey Williamson, class of 2011,  was named conference Player of the Year as an outfielder for the University of Indianapolis Softball Team. As a sophomore,   Casey earned All-American honors after hitting .455 with 21 doubles and 55 RBIs last season.

Annual Classic Car and Hot Rod Show

Paul Hayes, class of 1965, would like to invite all of you to join his family at the National Multiple Sclerosis Classic Car and Hot Rod show on August 3rd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The show will take place at The Olde Shadeland Shoppes Antique Mall at 3444 N. Shadeland Ave. The show is open to all pre-1985 cars and hot rods. The event includes lunch from Jimmy-Dee’s Old-fashioned Hot Dogs, a raffle and 50/50. Cost is $12 before July 27, and $15 after that. He hopes to see some BCHS alumni there!
