Andy Mundell, ’03, & team win Make 48 Reality Show
Congratulations to Andy Mundell, BCHS Class of 2003, who with a team of teachers at Purdue Polytechnic High School, are national winners of season 5 of the PBS Reality Show “Make 48”, an invention-related reality show.
They won the competition with the invention of ‘Don’t Wet Your Pants’ — well, you need to view the video to understand what this is all about.
Andy was a teacher at BCHS and currently teaches at Purdue Polytechnic. Congratulations Andy and team!

Michael Hudson, ’87, is Supplier of the Year in Georgia
Congratulations to Michael Hudson, BCHS Class of 1987, on being named the 2022 Supply Chain Advocate of the Year in Georgia, for his work at Green Diamond Waste. This award recognizes the supply chain leader of a Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council corporate or government member-partner that consistently demonstrates support for minority business development, corporate spend, financial support of Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council programs, and initiatives. Additionally, the Supply Chain Advocate of the Year operates as an integral force in their organization’s Minority Supplier Diversity efforts.
Green Diamond Waste Management is a Sustainability Resource Company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Established in 2007, they provide cost-saving dumpster and waste hauling solutions, consulting, and innovative solutions for their clients. The parent business was founded in Indianapolis by Arthur Hudson, and has passed on through the family, expanding with hubs in Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas.
Andy Howard, ’79, in Butler U. Athletics Hall of Fame
Andy Howard, BCHS Class of 1979 was inducted into the Butler University Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of their Class of 2022. While at Butler, Andy was a four-year starter at running back, and led the Bulldogs in rushing each of those four years. Andy finished his career at Butler as the second all-time leading rusher with 2,691 yards. Andy was an All-Conference player and was twice named team MVP.
At Bishop Chatard, Andy was a three-year starting running back, two-time All-State player, and led the Trojans to an undefeated season in 1978. Today, Andy and his wife reside in the Denver area, and he is the owner of a dentistry practice.
