Macy Pohl, ’15, is 500 Festival Princess

Congratulations to Macy Pohl, BCHS Class of 2015, on being selected as one of thirty three 2019 500 Festival Princesses. As a princess, Macy will serve as an ambassador for the festival and Indiana. As part of the honor, Macy receives a $1000 scholarship as well as countless leadership and outreach opportunities. Selection for the honor was based on communication skills, academic performance and community involvement. Macy is currently a senior at IUPUI, majoring in health sciences. You may see Macy around the state this year! Stop and say hello.

Melissa (Popp) Nimry, ’03, welcomes daughter

Melissa (Popp) Nimry, Bishop Chatard Class of 2003, sends us news of her new daughter, Gwenyth Elise Nimry, born in November. She joins big sisters Vivian (3) and Laila (1). Congratulations to the family!

Allie Battocletti, ’06, ‘Professor of Spacewalking’

From BCHS Trojan to Purdue and beyond! Read about the journey of Allissa (Allie) Battocletti, as she traveled from BCHS to Purdue, majoring in aeronautical engineering while also singing with the ‘Purduettes’. Now, she works for the Flight Operations Directorate at Houston’s Johnson Space Center. Her area of expertise is Extra Vehicular Activity Operations: spacewalks!

Jim Rawlinson, ’99, working hard to improve Indy

Jim Rawlinson, BCHS Class of 1999, shares this news with us: Jim is on the economic development team for the Indy Chamber, working to bring businesses to Indianapolis and connecting existing businesses with the resources they need to grow here. He helps businesses and the city administration work together. Recently he has been managing the Indy Music Strategy Project, examining the economic impact of music and the cultural ecosystem of Indianapolis to build a forward thinking policy and marketing strategy. He lives with his wife Emily and two sons, James and Nathan, in Irvington and is a parishioner at Little Flower.

Connor ’07 and Kelly (Doyle) Noll ’10 wed

Congratulations to Kelly (Doyle), BCHS Class of 2010, and Connor Noll, BCHS Class of 2007, on their recent marriage over the summer 2018. They returned to the football field for their wedding photos, seen below.
