Jessica Yingling, ’91, produces Hallmark Original Film

Fellow Trojans, mark your calendars and watch the Hallmark Channel original film “Anything for Love” produced by Bishop Chatard alumna Jessica Yingling, Class of 1991. This film will premier on February 14, Valentine’s Day, on the Hallmark channel at 9/8c. Synopsis of the movie: Katherine, a high-powered executive who believes men are intimidated by her career, is persuaded by her friend to create an internet dating profile claiming she is an executive assistant. Meanwhile, Jack, a male nurse, creates his own internet dating profile without realizing his best friend has secretly changed his profession to be a doctor. They are matched and find themselves falling in love, but hiding their true identities proves far trickier than expected when Katherine’s ornery and controlling father ends up in the hospital under Jack’s care. Kurtis Oldiges, ’13, IUPUI Honors Scholar

Private First Class Kurtis Oldiges, BCHS Class of 2013, was featured as an IUPUI Honors Scholar success story on the IUPUI website. Kurtis is a junior in the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI and the Chancellor’s Scholarship recipient. He serves as an Honors College Peer Mentor and recently completed 14 weeks of basic and additional military training.

Alumni share how BCHS prepared them for college

Thank you to the alumni who shared how their Bishop Chatard education and experience has made a difference in their lives.
Okenna is currently attending Cornell University, where he is majoring in Biological Engineering/Mechanical Engineering & Biomedical Engineering.
Nick Martin, Class of 2011, is currently at Notre Dame, pursuing a MBA degree. He is one of the captains of the Notre Dame football team.

Fred Hill is a West Point graduate and currently a 2nd lieutenant in military intelligence.


Natalie is currently studying for a Doctorate in Dental Science at IU School of Dentistry. She also was the Indy 500 princess runner-up.
Madeleine is currently a professional musician with popular group ‘Lily and Madeleine’.
Lauren is currently studying at Purdue University, majoring in Accounting and Management.

Thomas Mohr, ’87, is appointed Associate Dean

Dr. Thomas Mohr, BCHS Class of 1987, was appointed Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education at the University of the Incarnate Word, a Catholic University in San Antonio. The university is starting a new medical school. Congratulations Tom!

Mary Grace Feeney, ’13: Photos in Bicentennial Book

As you browse through the upcoming official bicentennial commemorative book, INDIANA AT 200: A Celebration of the Hoosier State, you might notice a photo from Bishop Chatard graduate, Mary Grace Feeney. From among 6000 photos submitted for the book from 350 different contributors, one of her photos has been selected! Congratulations Mary Grace! Mary Grace is currently a junior at Marian U, studying Photography and Business. She will be spending a semester at the University of Richmond in London UK starting in January in their Fine Arts program. Mary Grace studied photography under BCHS teacher Tracy Luke, while she was at Bishop Chatard. Find out more about the book.
